    Mount Xianzhu, a favorite place for mountaineers, is famous for its steepness and height. This time it was our climbing goal. 120 meters was really a challenging climb!As usual, we fully learnt the local geology and weather and carefully checked our climbing gear and safety equipment including ascending/descending devices, carabiners, ropes and helmets which are extremely important for a successful and safe outdoor activity.Looking up at the foot of this mount, we felt it was so high and we were so tiny. Nature is great indeed. Facing a mountain, all you can do is climb and so we did this. Inch by inch, we reached the top. There is no give up when climbing otherwise you fall hard. We enjoyed the beautiful views. The trees, animals, clouds, wind, water drops, all those were so much more int...

    May 12, 2018, we took part in a rescue drill organized by the provincial government. Firefighters, armed police and the Red Cross Society, were all a part of this event. Quite a thing to see, isn’t it?After all was prepared, the drill began. This was the first time I was on a helicopter and it was so exciting! The first thing was to get used to the heights and then I  learnt some rescue sign languages. When it came to the use of ascenders and descenders, I was just like a fish in the sea because I have 20 years of practice.                   When the chopper not motionless up in the sky and I was told to jump from it, I felt a little bit nervous and scared. I checked my ascenders, descenders, ropes, carabiners and helmet and then I too...
